Awoken by a great bang

So at 5:20 this morning after a fantastic night at Chris and Courtneys wedding at the Carlson Center, we were awoken by an awful bang. Out of a dead sleep we both jumped up and went to the windows looking for what had happened, of course the trees right in front of the house were limiting us from seeing the road in front. We ran down to the front door and saw a car flipped upside down with a man running around it. We quickly ran outside fearing the worst. Had we not seen the guy running away down the street away from the accident one would think massive injuries. In the photo I attached you can see a piece of the wood barrier he smashed into and than yard saled his car upside down. The wood piece probably weighs 50 pounds at least and went flying clear across the two lanes and into our service road. Another piece was at least 100 feet down the road to the left which would put that about 150feet from impact. It was unreal.
I've created and managed this website for my Wife Melissa and our family. Since 04/08/04 when I proposed to her we've had the typical up's and down's in life but our love for each other and the family is what make's it all worth it. I hope you enjoy our photography and stories!
